A BIG thank you to the lovely ladies who shared guest posts while Nick and I spent the last three weeks getting to know our sweet Samuel. (P.S. How is baby boy already three weeks old? Although, it’s easy to forget what life was like before him.)
Here’s a rundown of the delicious and crafty posts, in case you missed any of them:

- Afternoon Applesauce Cake from In This Instance
- Newborn Essentials from With Two Cats
- Veggie Enchiladas with Sweet Potatoes and Black Beans from A Cambridge Story
- Peanut Stew from On Anna’s Plate
- Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Bread from The Waspy Redhead
- Baby Blanket Sewing Project from Fresh Basil

Now that Nick and I have finally figured out Sam’s sleeping/eating/playing/pooping schedule, I plan to start posting regularly again. There will, of course, be plenty of Sam stories, but we also have some fun fall recipes to share. Can I interest you in a bowl of roasted butternut squash soup with a pint of homebrewed pumpkin ale?
It’s good to be back! Even if I only have one hand with which to type.
Hahaha. Looks familiar! Though now I have 3 hands to type…mine and 2 that are banging away, not sure if that’s better!
What a cutey!! Can’t believe it’s already been three weeks!
Oh my goodness, what a sweet face! He’s adorable. Isn’t amazing how quickly you learn to do things one handed?
Sammy is certainly the best thing you’ve ever cooked up! A unique blend of both of you that will never be replicated. Enjoy and savor his sweetness. He’s a one-of-a-kind masterpiece!
you two look so cozy! 🙂
