It sure hasn’t felt like a typical summer: no lazy Sundays on the hammock or lounge chairs and books on the beach or cocktails on the deck (okay, there have been a few cocktails on several decks). Instead I’ve spent a lot of time on my living room floor tying ribbons and stuffing envelopes and assembling centerpieces. With just 24 days to go (eeek!!!), our vision for our wedding day is really starting to come to life.

We still have a lot of projects we’d like to do, but nothing is really essential. How are you other August brides feeling?
I dropped a few non-essentials before the wedding. I realized that if I hadn’t done it earlier, then I shouldn’t stress myself out about it that close to the wedding date! It made things a lot easier. I can’t wait to see it all come together!! Don’t let the last few weeks stress you! 🙂
