I had grand plans to submit an entry into this competition. It’s “Macy’s Keeps America Cooking,” and the instructions are to create a video that tells America what keeps you cooking. The grand prize is a trip for two to San Francisco for a $2,500 kitchen shopping spree with Tyler Florence at Macy’s. Enticing! And perfect for the culinary couple. Unfortunately the deadline is this Friday, and there’s no way we’re going to get anything in. I can only take on so much at one time — and right now it’s work work, freelance work, wedding planning, blogging, and training for a half-marathon. Yeah, I like to keep myself busy.
