Blessed Busy Bee

I started this blog to keep the creative juices flowing. Unfortunately, the words have come in more of a trickle than a surge lately. I have at least four drafts waiting in line to be finished and published. But I’ve been occupied in other creative outlets: Graphic design for a community event, photography of family and friends and spring flowers. And travel season is in full swing. Trips completed: Back-to-back weekends at Lake Anna and several trips to Dover and Hershey. Upcoming trips: Seattle, NY Finger Lakes, and New England. Yet to be determined: NYC and Milwaukee. ‘Tis the season for birthdays, as well. Sister, Brother, Dad, Yours Truly. Mother’s Day recently passed and Father’s Day quickly approaching. A bridal shower and a bachelorette party. I’ve had many opportunities to be with the ones I love. And have embraced new relationships, as well. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by beautiful people. I am thankful for a courageous family. Friends that get better with time. Unexpected moments. Food, art, and nature.
