There is nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby. And there is nothing a momma savors more than a quiet house full of sleeping babies.
Yes, there are days when I count down the minutes until Sam’s afternoon nap. And I am clinging to it as long as it lasts because it is honestly the only time of day that he is still. And quiet. And not causing trouble.
And when Nora’s nap coincides with his? Well, then I morph into super mom and race around the house trying to accomplish as much as humanly possible before the babies wake. Or, some days I just sit down with a cup of coffee and enjoy the calm.
I love these kids. But I also love some good, quality me time.
They are both beautiful! I can’t wait to start a family – hopefully soon! 🙂
