My wife and I planned on a trip to Seven Mountains Wine Cellars, and while browsing for their web site, I came upon a 'Culinary Couple' review. Wanting to hear what someone else had to say about the place, I read your article. We had been there in the spring on the Susquehanna Valley Wine Tour which also included a visit to Brookmere, with an overnight stay in the mansion! Didnt see any ghosts, though!! haha, but anyway, decided to check out your site, and try my hand at these muffins....sounded pretty easy!! I experimented a bit, using pumpkin pie spice in place of nutmeg, and finishing off with a roll in pampered chef sweet cinnamon sprinkles and sweet caramel sprinkles........soooo delicious!!! thanks for the recipe, will definately make these again!!! and took only 45 minutes!!!!

Definitely a nice breakfast treat for your wife! We used regular sized muffin tins, which yielded 12 muffins. I wouldn't recommend using jumbo sized tins because the puffs are pretty decadent! Thanks for stopping by.

These look delicious and simple to make. This just might be a surprise breakfast treat for the wife this weekend. When you say muffin tin, what size are you talking about? Between mini muffins, what used to be a standard muffin tin 20 years ago and the growing size of muffin tins in general to jumbo sizes it is hard to judge today. The picture makes them look small or regular in size for a 2-3 bite size.

Will have to get back to your site later and dig further into your blog. Thanks for the post.
